Council of Businesses for the Arts
What is the Council of Businesses for the Arts (CBA)?
The CBA has been created to assist in Arts United's efforts to increase business involvement with the arts. It is our goal to connect the business community with the civic and arts organizations in order to stimulate economic development, support workplace creativity and encourage business prosperity. It is the desire of Arts United to foster the development of creativity and innovation amongst the workforce in northeast Indiana area businesses.

The arts play a vital role in community development by attracting new businesses, encouraging urban renewal and improving the quality of life for all in northeast Indiana.

Reason for Involvement
To cultivate an understanding of the importance of the arts in economic development and business success while encouraging business support for the arts through the Arts United annual fund. Corporate involvement in the arts opens opportunities to get employees involved with cultural organizations as volunteers. It also builds awareness that may allow for future support of our groups through sponsorships and/or mutually beneficial marketing opportunities.

Arts United can assist area businesses with the recruitment of high level employees to the area by showcasing our cultural community.

Mission and Purpose
To promote partnerships between businesses and the arts by increasing awareness in the business community and offering access and services that benefit and educate the company and its employees.
