Medici Circle Donors
Medici was the name of a great ruling family of Florence. Lorenzo, the Magnificent, was the most famous Medici. He made Florence the most powerful state in Italy and led it to its highest flowering. Many Renaissance artists worked in his court, including Leonardo da Vinci and Michaelangelo. Machivelli called Lorenzo Medici "the greatest patron of literature and art that any prince has ever been."

The Medici Circle was created to encourage and recognize leadership gifts in support of the arts in northeast Indiana. Medici donors are individuals who donate $1,000 or more to the annual fund drive campaign.

Max DePree said "Leadership is much more than art, a belief, a condition of the heart, than a set of things to do. The visible signs of artful leadership are expressed, ultimately, in its practice."

Anyone who donates $1,000 or more will become a part of the elite Medici Circle. All new and increased Medici donor gifts this year will be matched dollar for dollar by the English, Bonter, Mitchell Foundation up to $20,000!
