For many years, IPFW has supported Arts United by conducting an employee workplace campaign during our annual fund drive. Arts United gives us a variety of ways to enjoy our local talent and culture and we are busy meeting the needs for the arts community in northeast Indiana.
Greater Fort Wayne has many high quality arts organizations because of generous financial support from local individuals and corporations. Donations support the backbone of the arts community by providing funds for Arts United to:
- Give grants for arts activities and programs to more than 40 groups in 2009
- Grant funds for operating costs to ten leading arts organizations
- Provide affordable office and performance facilities for arts organizations
- Offer bookkeeping and administrative services for many groups
- Offer a group health care benefits plan for staff of local arts organizations
- Serve as a leading advocate promoting policies that can give incentives for arts and community development while encouraging partnerships and training that will improve efficiency and effectiveness for arts organizations
Financially, we are all making tough but smart choices that center around value and investment. Your donation to the Arts United Fund Drive does both, supporting our valuable cultural assets and investing in our community’s future as a dynamic and attractive place to live.
Our IPFW fund drive campaign begins February 22.until March 22. You can help Arts United continue serving the 10-county region around Fort Wayne. I encourage you to make a contribution to Arts United. Please support the arts.
